WHAT IS A SENIOR DANCE PORTRAIT?
A Senior Dance Portrait is a unique blend of traditional senior photos and dynamic dance shots, designed specifically for high school seniors who are dancers. These sessions celebrate both the milestone of senior year and the dancer’s unique talent. Unlike regular Dance Portraits, which focus solely on the art and technique of dance, Senior Dance Portraits capture your personality, achievements, and passion for dance in a comprehensive and personalized way.
What to Expect
Pre-Shoot Conversation: A week before our scheduled shoot, I will reach out to start the conversation for our session. We’ll discuss your vision, outfits, locations, and specific dance movements you want to feature, ensuring your portraits are personalized and truly reflect you.
Location Options: You can choose to have your session at your dance studio if allowed, or at a variety of other locations such as urban settings, scenic parks, or other outdoor spots. We can mix and match locations to provide a variety of backgrounds.
Wardrobe: Bring your favorite outfits for senior photos along with your dance attire. We’ll capture a mix of styles, from casual and formal senior portraits to dynamic dance poses in your costumes, creating a rich, diverse portfolio of images.
The Session: Unlike other photographers, I don’t charge by the hour but by the session. This means we’ll take as many photos, with as many poses and outfits as you like. My goal is to create a comfortable atmosphere where we can capture your best moments. You’ll have plenty of time to express your personality and showcase your dance skills.
Review and Selection: After the session, I will send you the photos we collaborated on. You'll select your favorite ones, and from there, I will refine these images and send you all the edited photos.
Pricing
Base Session Fee: $150
- Includes 2 locations and 2 outfits.
- Payable at the time of booking or at the end of the session.
Additional Options:
- Additional Locations: $50 each.
- Additional Outfits: $25 each.
- Location Fees: Certain locations require additional fees, which are the client's responsibility.
- Example: Hershey Theatre charges $50 per hour.
Session Duration:
- Sessions can last anywhere from one hour to an entire day.
- The focus is on collaboration, not rushing, so we can take our time and enjoy the process of creating meaningful and unique photos.
Photo Selection and Delivery:
- After the session, you’ll receive a gallery of all photos to select and favorite your preferred images.
- No limit on how many photos you can favorite—you’ll receive all the edited photos.
Delivery Timeline:
- 20-50 photos: 24-48 hours.
- 50-150 photos: 1 week.
- More than 150 photos: 2-3 weeks.
Payment and Cancellation Policy:
- Any add-ons (e.g., extra locations or outfits) can be paid at the end of the photoshoot.
- Cancellation Policy:
- More than 24 hours: 100% refund.
- Less than 24 hours: 75% refund.
- For weather-related issues, rescheduling is available if you prefer not to take photos in the rain or snow.
Questionnaire: When you book with me, you'll fill out a questionnaire that helps me get to know you better. This allows me to tailor the session to your unique style and preferences.
